Safety Matters
Body Safety and Bullying Prevention for all students in St. Joseph County (Pre-K – 12)
Beginning in Spring 2023, CASIE Center staff added to our prevention efforts by supporting Erin’s Law, which mandates that every child in Indiana (K-12) receives child abuse prevention education.
Working closely with Dunebrook in LaPorte County and CAPS in Elkhart County, the CASIE Center has developed a county-wide child abuse prevention program committed to empowering children to identify and report all types of child abuse.
The CASIE Center uses the evidence and research-based Safety Matters curriculum created by the Monique Burr Foundation.
No cost to the schools!
Our trained team comes out to provide lessons to children.
Available to support child abuse prevention with staff and parent trainings.
Available in English and Spanish.
